on top of a hill with you, the sky was lit in shades of red and gold
Tumblr media
pairing: ryomen sukuna x reader starring: ryomen sukuna | reader settings: alternate universe | sukuna is a student studying at jujutsu high | sukuna is somewhat behaving | sukuna is confused with the new human traditions, someone has to help him adjust | sunshine x grumpy trope
Tumblr media
Sukuna tilted his head to the side as fireworks began their journey in the sky as singular strings only to fall down in a multitude array of red, purple and gold. After being sealed for more than one century, he missed a lot of human inventions. One of them included fireworks.
Upon knowing that, (name) also known as that 'brat' (affectionally, not that Sukuna would ever admit to it), took it upon herself to bring Sukuna to see the fireworks on top of a hill overlooking the sea. She claimed that the fireworks launching by the harbour were far more spectacular than those being released near the school. He deserved the best of shows. Or so she claimed. The girl seemed to always be conveniently forgetting that he was a murderer, a merciless sorcerer killer. And yet, her gaze never faltered from his red ones. She held her head high when everyone else was bowing to him in submission, praying that he wouldn't chop their heads off for every word that escaped their mouths. Everyone walked on thin ice around Sukuna. Despite his vow to not kill anyone, he was still feared amongst sorcerers. And he liked to keep it that way. Until that foolish brat came along, dared to smile sweetly at him, naively introduced herself as his new classmate as if he was a mere human sorcerer attending Jujutsu High and not the King of Curses masquerading as a student for the sake of his own entertainment and to cure his boredom with the people of this generation.
To him, the fireworks were nothing spectacular. They were just overrated explosives meant to look pretty. A way for humans to break from their routines of 9-5 by celebrating another incoming year filled with 9-5 shifts again. Another year to live by society's rules. There was truly nothing glorious about celebrating a new incoming year that will be filled with the same lifestyles even when (name) claimed the opposite.
"We make New Year resolutions before the clock turns to 12 00. On a piece of paper, you write your wishes for the next year. Come on, Sukuna! Is there anything you want to add on your bucket list?"
Sukuna pondered over the question for a minute. There was nothing much that he didn't do on a whim. Anything he wanted, he made sure to get within the next minute or hours if it was a long process.
"Kill everyone?"
(Name)'s mouth gaped open. Her eyes were comically wide open. For a minute, Sukuna thought he finally struck fear in that foolish human.
"You can't wish that! It needs to be a positive change!"
That girl was truly weird. She didn't scold him for his 'New Year resolutions'. He might have been a bit creeped out by her trust and faith in him to be honest.
"What should I wish for then? There is nothing I cannot get in this world."
"Well, I cannot tell you what to wish. It must be something you genuinely want."
The conversation was changed soon after. However, he did see her scribbling something on a yellow post-it note with her red coloured pen. He saw a faint "2024 resolutions" written on top of the paper. He only shook his head. Foolish human.
And now, as the fireworks exploded in the sky filling the darkness with some colours, he turned his head towards (name) only to notice that she had her eyes closed, head bowed with hands in a praying position. 'She must be making her New Year's Resolutions.'
A moment passed before another firework broke down in the sky. This time, it was a golden one. He watched as the colours reflected on her skin. She would look beautiful in gold. And red. Like a firework in the sky, the vision of her dressed in a white shiromuku with an innocent grin gracing her face as her eyes twinkled with happiness, was quick to appear and quicker to fade.
As if on cue, (name)'s eyes slowly opened. She turned her head to the side to look at Sukuna.
"Did you make a wish Sukuna?"
He turned his head away from her to look at the fireworks once again.
"Yes."
A red and golden light lit up the sky.
"Let's come here again next year, (name)."
Tumblr media
Happy New Years everyone! I pray that 2024 brings you health, peace, happiness and prosperity.

Like Father Like Son
Izuku Midoriya grew up believing he lived a good life. He was always full of energy, obsessed with the hero world, and desperately wanted to be friends with everyone.
One thing that set him apart from his peers was that his father was an interesting character. Inko and Hisashi Midoriya seemed to balance each other. Inko was sweet and stern. Hisashi was sour and childish. Izuku often used that to his advantage.
Hisashi was mostly absent from Izuku’s life. Sure, Hisashi was always around, but he never behaved the way a father should have. It seemed as if entertaining Izuku was nothing but a burden and an inconvenience. Given the task of receiving his father’s love, Izuku did anything in his power for an ounce of attention.
Fear of abandonment was the driving force of Izuku’s childhood. That followed him to his teen years.
Now that Izuku was attending the U.A. High, the best hero school in Japan, the “cracks” in his perfect personality were on display. He took up a lot of the traits that made up his mother. He was sassy, goofy, nerdy, stubborn, compassionate, loving, and talkative.
When the first war hit and everyone was scrambling, it seemed that his upbringing came to a head.
If it had only been Inko in the picture, he could have consoled his crying mother before escaping U.A. High to take the target off the school. But Hisashi was also in the picture, and he was able to keep a better leash on his son.
For the first time in his life, Izuku wanted nothing more for Hisashi to avoid him again. Maybe Hisashi was just showing face for Inko. At least that was what Izuku was trying to convince himself.
With each hour that passed once he woke up, Izuku grew more antsy. He had already finished his goodbye letters to his classmates. On top of that, he talked to Toshinori, Gran Torino, and the pro heroes he’d be working alongside when he went on the run.
When news reached class 1-A that the pro heroes were going to be doing something and that Izuku was involved, the group decided to invade his hospital room. They had no plans of letting their friend go through this battle alone.
“That idiot!” hissed Bakugo as he stormed down the hallway, leading the group of his classmates.
“Why didn’t he talk to us,” wondered Todoroki quietly, right on Bakugo’s heels.
Uraraka sighed, focusing on the door numbers. “This is Deku we are talking about. He never talked about his troubles.”
Right beside Uraraka was Iida. He let out a huff as he commented, “It’s rather concerning that he's getting involved in something big and we aren’t informed about it.”
“I’m sure everything will be okay once we talk to Midoriya guys,” reassured Kirishima, not believing what he was preaching.
“Yeah! Midoriya is impulsive, but he wouldn’t do something too reckless,” agreed Kaminari, feeling rather optimistic about the entire situation.
Jiro shook her head, mumbling, “That has to be the dumbest thing you’ve ever said. This is Midoriya we are talking about. He’s always being reckless.”
Mina smiled at Jiro, feeling a bit better with the lighthearted banter. “Let’s just hope we can talk to him about what we have been hearing and get some answers.”
Less than ten seconds later they reach his room. Right as Bakugo was about to blast the door open, his anger vanished. Shouting could be heard from inside the room.
“What are you saying? We are in the middle of a war!” shouted Izuku.
The entire class quickly huddled by the door; Jiro used her quirk to help them eavesdrop as well.
“Here are some things a war needs Izuku. Conflict, stakes, a way to benefit, and clearly you staying here to rest and train for the inevitable second wave,” listed Hisashi in a couldn’t-be-bothered tone.
“But the villains are after me! Targeting the people I care about and eating babies,” argued Izuku, not understanding why Hisashi wasn’t understanding.
Bakugo and Uraraka shared a confused and disturbed expression. Iida and Todoroki shrugged considering Izuku often said crazy things out of seemingly nowhere.
Hisashi seemed to be munching on something as when he began to speak, it was clear something was in his mouth. “Yeah. Thankfully that’s not our problem. It’s time to pull the plug.”
“Pull the plug?” spat Izuku in disbelief. He couldn’t believe how selfish his father was being. Deciding to let it all out, Izuku attacked, “I have to protect my friends and save the hurting child inside Shigaraki! I have to do the right thing! Do what you never did as a dad! Put in a little effort.”
Class 1-A was officially panicking. Not once had Izuku ever mentioned having family problems or a bad relationship with his father.
Todoroki couldn’t help but feel a little guilty. After all, Izuku helped him through his family troubles, childhood trauma, and his generally bad relationship with his father.
Bakugo on the other hand was pissed off. If he had known that Hisashi was a piece of shit father, he would’ve gotten his parents involved. After all, Mitsuki adored Inko and would do anything for her.
It seemed that the rest of the group was eager for answers considering something like this was so out of the blue. The conversation was emotionally charged on Izuku’s end, but Hisashi seemed to care less.
“Alright, cut the high road routine. We both know about Shigaraki’s shitty situation and how he now has All for One. You accepted One for All, the only quirk that can defeat him. Shigaraki’s pathetic life is in your hands. You go save him,” taunted Hisashi, clearly proving Izuku right. He didn’t put in any effort in supporting his kid.
Bakugo glared at the door. He was tempted to bust it down and blast Hisashi to hell. Despite never interacting with the man before, he made up his mind that Hisashi was an insufferable asshole he didn’t want to be bothered with.
Todoroki on the other hand was still caught off guard by Hisashi’s words. All for One and One for All were mentioned. Shigaraki had AFO and Izuku had OFA. They were opposites and destined to battle one another? Uraraka caught on as well and felt the fogginess in her mind clear up a bit.
“So, you refuse to let me leave, but you want me to save Shigaraki? You’re really going to believe that I, your son, can’t be trusted with pro heroes?” interrogated Izuku, more than happy to point out the flaws in his father’s hurtful comments.
“Yes, Izuku. I don’t trust you. Because you’re not my son,” shouted Hisashi, fed up with the conversation.
Kirishima gasped, appalled by such a cruel thing for Hisashi to say to his son. Uraraka shook her head, a pang of guilt eating her up inside with the knowledge that Izuku had to deal with Hisashi for his entire life.
Todoroki had flashbacks to the things his father would say to him out of anger. Endeavor loved using the phrase “If you can’t do ____ then you’re no son of mine”. It seemed Hisashi was close to no better than Enji.
Bakugo’s hands twitched as the fabric of his school uniform was singed. The blood rushing through his veins was overwhelming, but it didn’t compare to the nightmarish thoughts running through his head. He wanted to kill that bastard. Izuku was an incredible person and the fact Hisashi couldn’t see that was crazy.
Much to everyone’s shock, Izuku fired back quickly, not too upset by the statement, but rather annoyed. They could hear movement from inside the room as Izuku exasperated, “Oh, God. Yes. I’m one of infinite Izuku’s with infinite fathers and infinite universes! It’s called a hug Dad! It won’t kill you.”
The conversation was derailing so fast. Mina and Kaminari were already tapping out from being able to react. Todoroki was struggling a bit too. The majority of class 1-A felt as if they were missing vital information. It would make sense with how Izuku never brought up Hisashi.
Bakugo was lucky enough to know most of what was going on, the only thing he didn’t understand was Izuku and Hisashi talking about a multiverse in the middle of a conversation about Shigaraki and Izuku wanting to save people.
Despite all of that, Jiro and Sero snickered at Izuku for shaming his dad. It was funny to hear Izuku be sassy and mock someone.
“Yeah, don’t be so sure. Do you know why every Hisashi made sure their little boy was quirkless? The same reason why I’m not surprised you want to go on this suicidal villain destruction tirade. You were a scary fucking kid,” admitted Hisashi shamelessly.
Bakugo was having a crisis while the rest of class 1-A were trying to process the insane confession they just heard. Hisashi made sure Izuku was quirkless. Yet somehow Izuku had a quirk in this reality.
The teens also couldn’t comprehend why Hisashi would say Izuku was a scary kid. Sure, he could be pretty intense and spooky when in battle, but he was super kind, energetic, and a pure hero. It seemed that Hisashi didn’t know his son at all.
Izuku let out a laugh of disbelief. “Oh my god.”
Everyone was more than happy to hear Izuku was in the same boat they were in.
“I didn’t take your quirk to punish you. I did it to protect the neighborhood," revealed Hisashi bluntly. Izuku didn't respond so Hisashi explained, "Not in a noble sense. It was more to sequester you before I had to start, you know, cloning a replacement for every less-than-polite kid or gullible little animal that might cross your socio-path."
With more context to back up Hisashi's insane statements from before, they were now more curious about Izuku's childhood. They could imagine how he'd be a lot to handle. He was a very curious person and always found his way into trouble. Still, that was something they liked about their classmate.
Bakugo, who grew up with Izuku, didn't have the slightest clue about what Hisashi was talking about. Izuku was annoying, sure, but he was obsessed with becoming a hero and saving people. This story Hisashi spun up made no sense.
"This bastard is lying," whispered Bakugo, growing more irritated.
Uraraka and Todoroki glanced at Bakugo. They were glad to hear Bakugo say what they were thinking. While their thoughts and feelings about Hisashi were biased, Bakugo knew Izuku when he was young.
"You would rather believe I'm evil than admit that you are a bad father?" remarked Izuku rather calmly. It seemed that the disbelief wore off and the disappointment settled in.
Hisashi was quick to respond as he clarified, "Oh, dude. No. No, bad father all the way to the max here. I'm a fucking nutcase, and the acorn plopped straight down baby."
The entire group got a bad feeling about all of this. No matter what the result of the conversation was, it was clear that Hisashi was an unreliable narrator in this case. He was contradicting himself left and right, being overly rude, claiming Izuku was crazy, and then making it sound like Izuku had to be crazy just because he was.
"Look at some of the shit you asked me to make you as a kid," started Hisashi as the sound of wind and something crashing could be heard. The group immediately assumed that Hisashi had opened a portal to get a box of items from his home or something.
“Ray guns. A whip that forces people to like you. Invisibility cuffs. A parent trap. A lightning gun,” listed Hisashi as he picked up the items one by one.
With each item Hisashi announced, class 1-A’s jaws dropped lower and lower and their eyes grew wider and wider. They struggled to comprehend what they were hearing. They could hear the jingling of metal and the rubbery noises of plastic. These items were real.
The one thing no one could understand is why Izuku would ask for any of those items. He was a quirkless kid with a dream of becoming a hero. Why he’d ask for things that could cause harm or suggest criminal activity made no sense.
In the cases where the item wasn’t dangerous, they found themselves growing sad. For instance, the whip that forced people to like Izuku. They couldn’t conceptualize people who didn't naturally like him. He was a magnetic force that attracted people.
“A teddy bear with anatomically correct innards. Night vision googly eyeglasses. Sound erasing sneakers. False fingerprints. Fall asleep darts.”
Magically Hisashi’s prior statements started making sense. If Izuku was asking for items that made it seem like he was planning on stalking and killing someone, they could understand why he was so stern.
The one thing that had Bakugo stumped was he never saw any of the items mentioned before. Izuku’s little bag he used to carry around everyone only had a crappy hero notebook and some hero figures. He rarely had the book bag on him anyway.
While Uraraka, Todoroki, and Iida were concerned by the things their best friend asked for, they were more curious than anything else. How did a child come up with half of those ideas, especially the teddy bear with organs?
“A lie-detecting All Might action figure. An indestructible baseball bat. A taser shaped like a ladybug. A fake police badge. Location tracking stickers. Rainbow-colored duct tape. Mind control hair clips. Poison gum,” continues Hisashi effortlessly. It seemed like he was going to account for every item that was in the container all the items were in.
Kaminari and Sero let the shock fade away and they were suddenly snickering. There was something so humorous about Izuku being a bloodthirsty child.
Bakugo on the other hand was freaking out because some items sounded like faint memories. If he felt like he remembered some of the items, it meant there was a high probability Izuku carried them around often.
Uraraka and Todoroki seemed to process a big issue simultaneously. Hisashi was creating these things. If Izuku asked for a bomb, it seemed like Hisashi would mindlessly make one for Izuku and shove him out the door.
At the best, Hisashi was neglectful. At the worst, Hisashi was an abusive piece of shit. He would make insane and dangerous items for his child without even considering how Izuku could hurt himself or others.
It was a blessing that Izuku managed to calm down and chose the right path of being a genuine hero with the mission of saving people. Inko must’ve raised Izuku all by herself because there was no way Izuku reflected Hisashi.
The group barely had a moment to reflect when Hisashi spoke again and said, “A green, sentient switchblade.”
Before anyone could process what Hisashi just stated, they heard the flipping of a switchblade accompanied by a horrifically human voice.
“Hi Izuku! You’ve gotten taller. Shall we resume stabbing?”
Jiro and Momo’s jaws dropped as their heads slowly turned to look at each other. The fact that Izuku grew up with a custom, humanlike knife was something out of a movie.
Todoroki was growing increasingly concerned about how Hisashi managed to make the items in the first place.
Kirishima and Kaminari were jealous that Izuku got a bunch of cool things in his childhood. They did have to remind themselves that Hisashi was a shit father and Izuku deserved better.
Bakugo on the other hand was still trying to recollect ever seeing any of the items. Maybe Izuku had them hidden or requested Hisashi to make an invisible backpack. Still, never once had Izuku used those items.
As horrible as it was, Izuku let the bullies push him around and insult him despite having gear to protect himself. Bakugo probably would have left Izuku alone if he had ever seen any of the items.
“Has it occurred to you that I asked you to make those things because I wanted you to spend time with me? Had it occurred that if I asked you to make those things, it was to protect myself from the bullying I endured because of my quirkless status?”
Suddenly all concern the group had for Izuku’s sanity vanished and empathy kicked in. It made a lot of sense when they thought about it. Izuku wouldn’t have asked for those things before the age of four.
If Hisashi stole Izuku’s quirk and put a giant target on his son’s back of course he’d lose friends and be a target of bullying. Izuku was probably lonely and wanted his parents' attention.
With his father being some kind of inventor, it made sense that someone as smart as Izuku would try to knock out two birds with one stone. Some time with his dad and getting useful items.
Nonetheless, Bakugo understood why he never saw Hisashi. Hisashi was a crazy ass adult with no sense of morality. He was a bad father and a disappointment of a person.
“Wait what? Why? Didn’t you play with those three boys all the time? You wanted to be a hero so deal with the consequences of that,” scoffed Hisashi as he once again dismissed his son’s serious problems.
Uraraka was incredibly disturbed. Izuku had confronted his dad about wanting attention and how Hisashi’s decision to steal his quirk did more harm than good. So how did Hisashi take that entire statement and just go right back to square one? The topic of Shigaraki has already passed so why was Hisashi simply chalking all of this up to Izuku wanting to be a hero?
Bakugo was done with Hisashi and was happy to tell Iida to go get Aizawa. Japan may be a wreck now, but Hisashi was not about to make UA a scary place for Izuku.
As Iida rushed away, Izuku responded. To no one’s surprise, Izuku was hurt and betrayed by his father’s reaction. It must have stung to know his father never once cared about him.
“Oh my god! This is your fault! I am not a bad person. I’m going to leave UA, I’m finding Shigaraki, and I’m fixing this!” shouted Izuku as the sound of a window breaking rang out through the room.
Bakugo burst through the doorway in the moment, terrified Izuku was hurt. All he saw was a broken window, a hospital gown lying on the hospital bed, a pile of letters sitting on the floor, and Hisashi standing near the bed with a stunned expression.
Bakugo wasted no time charging at Hisashi as he screamed, “You fucker! Do you have any idea what you just did?”
Todoroki vaulted himself out the window, hoping he’d be able to catch Izuku before he got away. Uraraka rushed out with Todoroki, knowing every second counted.
By the time Aizawa reached the room, Hisashi was unconscious, Izuku was gone, and Todoroki and Uraraka came back empty-handed.
After countless days of searching, fighting, and struggling to get Izuku to return, they succeeded. They had to give Izuku a bit of time to rest and recover, but when he was good enough to chat again, they all had one question.
“Can we see your sentient switchblade?”

How did the Aftons react to Evan's death via the bite?
Tumblr media
About time I get an angsty question, let's dive right in!!
The Afton Family (we'll get into specifics in a minute)
- Well, it was a death in a established/popular entertainment location. Not to mention a gruesome death, so obviously everyone and their mother not only made several tabloids and news reports, they also interviewed/interrogated EVERYONE AT THE PARTY
- so what a joy it was to not only have the company's name slandered, but your family was constantly harrassed about the whole situation too!!
- Michael and Elizabeth's classmates would always ask them about the incident, to the point where William pulled them out of school for a while
- Their neighbors became extremely nosy abt it as well (asking about funeral plans, if they were gonna have Michael arrested etc) and the family itself was already pretty isolated, so they basically became antisocial afterwards and avoided talking to people
- I briefly mentioned this in the Charlie post, but William was kicked out of the company shortly afterwards (my version of Henry was originally kind of a self-centered, prideful man before Charlie...yk ☹) bc of the bad publicity towards him and the fact it was fucking up the business now (I'll list more reasons in a bit) so now the only friend the Aftons had was giving them the cold shoulder and cutting ties with them to avoid affiliations
Okay specifics time!! (This might be a long post so grab some 🍿)
Michael Afton (not the Michael color, I know, there's no gray!!)
- All Mikey wanted to do was just prank Evan, teach him a lesson for getting him in trouble more than usual.
- Nice going, Michael.
- Oh boy. This guy went to a literal state of shock (I'm talking HE FROZE IN FEAR KINDA SHOCK) as soon as Fredbear's jaw closed
- He didn't even manage to 'wake up' until they were already in the hospital (Lizzie dragged him there)
- and of course Mike was scared and remorseful, his prank was quite literally meant to be a funny haha moment which ended up as him technically becoming a murderer 😭😭
- He nearly vomited and passed out as soon as he heard Evan died
- When Michael returned to school, best believe he lost all his popularity, now everyone knew him as the guy who killed his brother (the other kids involved in the prank distanced themselves as far away from it as possible) and so he became a friendless outcast :(
- Even Jeremy stopped talking to him, mostly because of what Jeremy's mom said about them for clout
- which totally didn't help his now declining mental health
Elizabeth Afton
- Lizzie was actually hanging around the bathroom area talking with Charlie when the bite happened, she would've been too late to stop it anyway
- She literally lost her twin. It's not the best feeling in the world.
- Of course she felt terrible about the whole situation but also,,,a sense of liberation??
- like, the one person who stood in the way of her gaining her father's love is dead. Mike doesn't give 2 shits about Will, and Clara is already in a loveless relationship with him. So now it leaves her as his new favorite
- she surprisingly was able to move on faster than the rest of her family (at least on the outside, as I said she did lose her baby brother)
- but it's not a fun life afterwards, considering she no longer had friends at school now since Will pulled her out quickly (and plus, Henry started cutting ties with the Aftons so now she couldn't hang out with Charlie!!) And again, she started losing her mind just like the rest of the family
Clara Afton
- Girly was just tryna to find a camera in the car outside, she didn't see or hear the bite thankfully (she did have to see the image of her bleeding son being carried out by his father though)
- Evan's death is truly what got her motivated enough to actually start fighting against Will's constant mistreatment of her and the kids
- but of course that doesn't last long. (Guess who ends up in Ballora?)
- because of the news (and more specifically, one particular news article made by a Mrs. Helen Fitzgerald, mother of Jeremy Fitzgerald,,,👀) she was now labeled a neglectful, hosebag mom who was probably in it for those Afton bucks 💸 which ruined her relationship with her neighbors and friends
- Remember, EVERYONES reputation was terribly slandered by the bite (and by the media wanting to cause more drama)
- She was already a stressed out, meek person because of her marriage with William, she got a lot worse after her baby died
William Afton (his is the LONGEST sorry for the text walls)
- He was just about ready to carry out Evan's birthday cake as soon as he heard the screams of terror
- He reacted almost instantly. William is not a very physically strong looking man, but he is powerful enough to break a robot's jaw open.
- He pulled Evan's body out (as best as he could, he was rushing to save him so who knows if some...chunks were still left inside 🤢🤢 sorry for the mental image)
- He didn't acknowledge ANYONE else in the room. And he didn't even have the rest of his family get into the car, he placed Evan in the back with a blanket wrapped tightly around his head and drove off, leaving the rest of the family to find another way to the hospital
- but of course his efforts were all for nothing.
- Everyone kinda expected him to become deranged and violently (publicly) abusive but for a while he was just...numb. and detached from everyone and everything. He wouldn't talk to a single person and would isolate himself in his workshop/basement to grieve
- (he didn't even bother punishing Michael for the accident, which set off a lot of red flags for Mikey who knew that something would snap inside his father soon)
- His already inconsistent sanity started cracking when his name and family were considered pariahs now (thanks a lot Helen for further spreading rumors about them)
- it became even worse when Henry kicked him out (According to Henry's excuses, he knew Will was likely never going to recover from the bite so he might as well give him an 'early retirement')
- (Basically, Will wasn't coming to work at all and wasn't making them money, his damaged reputation would ruin the now shitty rep of the diner more, and bc of the Aftons now being associated with the words 'horrible' 'neglectful' and 'irresponsible' , Henry just decided to tie up loose ends and get rid of him to save face) (Remember that Henry was an asshole and only got to his redemption journey once his daughter died)
- So, great. But what's this?? The closed Fredbear's Family Diner Fredbear animatronic is acting?? Off?? Sort of seems...alive??? You bet it is!!
- And of course, we all know what happens from there.
Thanks for asking! If you want more just ask!!

Warning: Mention of death
Tumblr media
That day will always remain hazy to me. Being ushered out of class alongside my classmates, seeing the police arrive, loud chatter, and people moving everywhere. Thinking about it gives me a headache.
But what happened?
I didn't know till I got home. I came home late that day since the police ended up questioning every single one of us, but their questions were too vague.
"Did you see any suspicious behavior?"
That was the question I kept being asked.
"No."
And that is what I always answered with.
When I got home and walked into the living room, I saw my parents watching the news, but once they saw me walk in, they switched their attention to me.
I sat down and tried my best to explain to them what happened at school.
Then I heard it.
"Breaking news is just coming in regarding the police activity that was seen early today at Akademi High. The police have stated that a body was found on the campus. The identity of the body is still unknown. Progress is currently still being made, we'll keep all of you at home updated with any new information."
My parents and I were shocked at the sudden news.
A death? Someone died at my school?
Who was it? Was it a student? Hell, maybe even a teacher? The case is still ongoing as well, so I can't let my mind get too carried away, it'll make me more anxious than before.
Then, my worst thoughts became true. It was a student.
He was a first year student, I talked to him a few times, but I didn't know him on a personal level. Yet, his death is hurting me. The thought that a person I saw every day at school and even talked to is now gone makes me shiver.
After the news got released, it didn't take long for Akadimi to close. It was a temporary procedure, so the police had more time to investigate, but this time was also used for any student affected by the death to mourn.
During this time, I decided to text Ayato. He didn't respond right away, and when he did, he didn't even seem fazed by the news.
I've known Ayato since we were young, so this behavior from him didn't surprise me. He has always been this way. I chalked it up to him being very apathetic.
His behavior didn't bother me when I was young, unlike other kids who would bully him for his lack of emotion and interests. I thought he was nice and a great listener, so I chose to stick by his side even if I got odd glances from the other kids.
But as of lately, Ayato has made a new friend. Taro Yamada is the guy's name.
I only talked to Taro a few times, and I wished I could get to know him more, but my duty of being the newspaper club's leader has made me more busy.
I also found out that Taro has an older sister, and her name is Taeko Yamada.
She is one of the more popular students at Akadimi. I suppose this is for her kind nature. I've talked to her a handful of times, but it was never enough to form a friendship with her.
Even though I never knew either of them on a personal level, I started to wish to see them again.
The school was closed for three months, and I practically had all the time in the world to do anything. The only problem was that I had nothing to do.
I wanted to ask Ayato to hang out, but he was never the type to do so.
So I mostly stayed at home and tried my best to entertain myself, or I walked around the town to find anything interesting to do.
One...
Two...
And finally, three months passed.
The school announced we would be going back on the sixteenth of that month.
I knew it was odd to be excited about this, but I was more than ready to go back and see everyone again.
When the day finally came, I woke up early and did my usual routine. I woke up extra early today since the club is going to have a morning meeting.
This is due to me and the other club members having to discuss what we would publish in the newspaper. Should we talk about the death and any new information that comes from it? Or should we not talk about the death at all and instead go for a happier approach?
Either way, we had to come to a conclusion, so when I made it to the school, I rushed to the club room. I saw a few members seated while others weren't there yet.
We waited, and the remaining members came, we then started our discussion.
School hasn't even started yet, but it was already hectic. I hoped that the rest of the day wouldn't be draining.

🪞🫶💕📍 RAAAAAAAAAAHHHH
hello gummy !!!!
🪞 which character is most like you and why?
oh this is a tough one right off the bat…. i’m probably gonna go with lizzie not Just bc she’s my fav character but actually there’s probably a good reason for that . i also kinda have a temper i try to control. and also my fav colour is red. yea see we’re practically the same person. also i like to be dramatic just for the lols
🫶 otp?
ohhh if you’ve seen enough of my posts u already know this . DIZZIE. AKA DARING AND LIZZIE. AKA THE ONE CANON SHIP THAT HAD SOO MUCH POTENTIAL BUT DIDNT GO ANYWHERE!!! if you’ve read the wonderlandiful world book you’ll especially understand where i’m coming from. literally even a snippet of it is in my header. it’s just sooo!!! idk!! i like the drama of everyone expecting daring to be with apple or at the very least a “Proper Princess”.. but here comes this wonderlandian princess who threatens to chop people’s heads off and there is just . Hearts in his eyes (pun intended). he’s completely smitten. and lizzie is just like Ugh this guy again but secretly finds him intriguing and likes the fact he likes Her for Her. my fav ship dynamic. obviously not biased but i think it’s the best out of the daring ships mainly bc i cant personally imagine cerise being attracted to men and i already told my thoughts on darabella.. i have many more thoughts on dizzie i should probably make a post on that.
this ship is just so criminally underrated there’s rlly not enough fics on this. i have soo many unfinished dizzie fics that will hopefully one day see the light.. who knows
💕 any other character dynamics you like (family, friends, ships)?
oh u already know what i’m gonna say. CHARMING SIBLINGS!!!! the books especially portray their dynamics so well. which is why i have a bone to pick with fics or interpretations where dexter or darling, specifically dexter, get rlly annoyed at their brother or daring is rlly condescending bc while dexter mayy be a little tired of being in his shadow they all still love each other!!! daring and dexter playfully wrestle, daring laughs as darling swings on his arm like a monkey bar, daring is proud of “dexter” suddenly improving in hero class and reassures him later that he knows this isn’t his thing but he isn’t going to hurt him while jousting…. i also find it entertaining to read about dexter and daring shooing off all of darling’s suitors, it’s nice to see how protective they r of her. and that one diary entry of darling remembering a memory of the three playing in the mud and then running away into the forest, making fun of their mother. it’s so cute . so good.
i reckon my love for this sibling dynamics and most sibling dynamics in media is bc of me being an only child and projecting bc i’ve always wanted siblings like this but anyways…..
📍 favourite eah location?
ooh interesting question . is it weird to say the castleteria LOL. i’ve always wanted to be in those american school type cafeterias and the different levels in the castleteria just seem even more fun. so that or the study lounge bc i’m a Nerd and like to study in environments like that.. i liked to study in my high school’s yr 12 study room especially when it was quiet, but it was also Just as fun to just chat about anything with friends and other classmates

There is an odd theory I start to have, maybe it's a stretch, but what if Nagito's motive in the 5th chapter was not 100% to save the traitor and kill the remnants, but to give them a chance against Monokuma? He says his only best "talent" is cleaning, but I find it strange he left the tiny foil top thing beneath his bed, also that he left the poison in his own cottage's fridge (he could have hid it inside any fridge, one which has no ties to him or the trial), lolike he tried to give them a slight chance to solve his case. To me it would make more sense of his mention of a bronze statue, since then he tried to do the same thing that Sakura did (tricking Monokuma). Maybe by letting AI Chiaki die also helped Alter Ego in a way (freeing it from the Neo World program's limitations)?
HELLO! sorry this took forever to respond to.
i really had to think about this one for a bit. my first thought upon reading this was sort of just a "huh... maybe," but i decided to entertain the theory, and it slowly just started making more sense. it's not as much of a stretch as you think it is. i was talking about this theory with my lawyer (bf) for a good while and went back through a lot of dialogue.
So! im going to explain how this theory could actually work, in probably agonizing detail! i've tried to organize this nicely since it's a bit long.
so first let's go over; what exactly does nagito know?
the neo world program, AI chiaki being the traitor, the remnants of despair, some sense of monokuma's plan to lead everyone to "unimaginable despair," the "truth" of this world (which im assuming entails future foundation using the nwp to "restore" the remnants by the end of the field trip,) monokuma/the mastermind is using the nwp to bring the ultimates back to despair. these are all things he knows.
it's difficult to say what he for sure does and doesn't know though. we don't know what exactly was in the files that nagito recieved, and during his final video message, there's text that's cut off which could potentially be important. so i'll assume that he prooobably doesn't know about junko's graduation plan, and i dont think he knows the mastermind (kamukura.)
i do think it's safe to assume nagito knows hajime is kamukura based on various things nagito has said, but i don't think he knows that kamukura is the mastermind. he might suspect it though. again, i can't say anything for sure but for the sake of this post, this is what i'll be assuming right now. i'm also going to assume he knows that Junko is the ultimate despair, and is a virus infecting the simulation.
The evidence in nagito's cottage...
this is what really stumped me. why did nagito leave the foil and poison in his cottage? there's no way this was a careless mistake, this is nagito were talking about, every action he takes always has a meaning. also, with how detailed and meticulous his plan was, there's no way he didn't think about the evidence left at his cottage, evidence that could have EASILY been disposed of. yet, he left it in his cottage, and im sure he was fully aware it would be seen. nagito is smart. so im positive that he left it there on purpose.
all of his motivations are based on hope and seeing the one true hope that can overcome ANY despair. this is very important to remember.
he wasn't just trying to get everyone but the traitor killed, there was another option. one that actively inspired hope. that option being, the remnants face off against junko enoshima- the ultimate despair, and win. what's more hopeful than that? they would literally be overcoming some of the worst despair.
nagito himself never says what exactly it was he was trying to achieve, it's only assumed that he was trying to kill everyone. which yes, is true, but it's only one part of the full story. it was the safe option, kill everyone before they can turn to despair. but in another event, his classmates would be forced to solve a seemingly impossible case and set them up to deal with junko. he became the perfect stepping stone for hope, as he said he would throughout the whole game.
further proof that this was an outcome he had planned for; the video message he prepared was specifically for either plan.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
in the video, he even instructs them on how to enter the ancient ruins and stop monokuma's plans.
now around the part where mentions the bronze statue, he's babbling on about becoming hope. which sounds like his normal nonesense, but its incredibly important when you remember he's speaking to BOTH sides. even in the event his plan "failed" he still believes he's done something hopeful.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
he became a stepping stone for hope, and he knows it.
even if he doesn't know about junko enoshima (because he MIGHT not) it's still obvious that they're facing an ultimate level of despair, the true and worst kind of despair. he's perfectly aware monokuma's plan is to make them feel that despair. so either way you look at it, he's setting up the others to overcome despair and let their hope shine through.
so in conclusion to this,
i do think it's entirely possible he left the evidence there on purpose as clues for them to solve the case. it was a two in one for him, either way the trial turned out he was guaranteed some type of victory for hope.

Daichi, The Lone Individualist
OK time for my first character that I made for this project. He's a goober, originally designed for a P4 rp, and I like em alot.
Tumblr media
Basics
Daichi Yuugi was born to two engineers. Both of which spent most of their time away from home when he grew to be around 10 due to work. Because of this, Daichi spent most of his time being alone and restless. In the privacy of their home, they did the best they could to keep themselves entertained and free.
Though, this attitude didn’t really translate well when trying to interact with people his age. Everyone seemed to think he was weird, and because of his meh grades and underachieving attitude, they kind of just…declared him the town idiot. Which forced him into a state of being alone, a state they desperately wanted to escape.
So, in high school, they have been trying to hide their weirder tendencies in order to seem more approachable. But the label of town idiot still follows him, whether he likes it or not. Even with the few friends he does manage to make.
After the party discovers The Dark Garden while trying to save a classmate, Daichi initially runs away, fearful of death and battle. But he eventually decides to muster the courage to go in alone, shaming himself for his cowardice. This almost gets him killed, but he decides to stick it out, joining the new team in their quest to uncover the secrets of The Dark Garden.
Personality
Daichi is both cheerful and gauche. He is very excitable and hyper and has a tendency to make jokes that only a few people find funny. Because of their odd style, their awkward and loud personality, and their low intelligence, many seem to dislike him or write him off as a waste. To avoid getting hate thrown his way, he either tries to act more normal or pretends the insults don’t bother him. They do, though.
Daichi loves to consume media, most likely as an escape from this world, and often dreams about making stories that can be appreciated by the entire world if possible.
He cares deeply for his friends and the town he lives in, even if they hate him. He is especially protective of Abel, who he relates to as an outsider seeking relationships.
Combat
Daichi's personas are Dante from the Divine Comedy and Ovid, a roman poet
Dante is the writer and main character of The Divine Comedy. It follows the story of Dante, a poet who has been sent to Hell. He is guided by a man named Vergil, and travels through Hell, Purgatory, and eventually Heaven, learning about all of them along the way.
Ovid was a Roman poetry who wrote many stories. Specifically, he is responsible for many of the stories where the Olympic gods are more explicitly flawed and awful, such as Aracnhe's and Medusa's stories.
As a party member, Daichi specializes in
Decent stats all around with an emphasis on speed and luck
Strike damage with boots.
Electric magic
All types of buffs, including Heat Riser
Status healing
Confuse and Fear status effects
Arcana and Story Arc
Daichi is of the Hermit Arcana. Representing solitude, but also self reflection. Daichi has been forced to be alone for a multitude of reasons. His parents are almost always away on business. His interests lead him to stay inside more often. His eccentric nature often leads people to bully him or dismiss him.
Daichi seeks an escape from this awful world. They like helping people, and weiritjg stories, but what's the point of writing stories for people if everyone dismisses what you do as foolishness? They must struggle with these thoughts and feelings.
Daichi tries to find ways to fit in, desperately, but eventually realizes they don't really have to. He has his people. The world may be unnecessarily cruel, but they manage to actually help people who are alone, understanding what that feels like.
Daichi would also be one of the only social links that you can reverse. If you call his dreams stupid, or belittle him, he'll feel like you're just like everyone else. And why would they want to hang out with someone who doesn't really like them?

Yeah so your dynamic shipping game? I know I say Takeru and Hikari a lot because I always want to know others perception of them.
Another one I am very curious about is Koushirou and Mimi. Because Tri just worked for them.
But if you mean non common ships I have been curious about Yamato and Mimi. I get the whole they look good together vibe especially in illustrations, but personality wise they don’t really mesh up well in my opinion. Maybe you’ll find something good out of it?
Anyways thank you for reading this. Even if you do one review I would appreciate it. Thank you!
Hello there! Thank you for sending me this, I still have all the other rarepairs in my queue and want to work on them, since I always enjoy to have some thought experiments here and there.
Since my stance on Takari hasn't really changed ever since writing my first analysis post, I hope it's okay if I'm not gonna repeat this one.
However, the other two (namely Koumi and Mimato) are definitely more interesting to write about, for very different reasons each:
Digimon Shipping Dynamic Game:
Send me two names among the following 12 and I’ll write a short analysis post about them:
Taichi Yagami | Yamato Ishida | Sora Takenouchi | Koushirou Izumi | Mimi Tachikawa | Jyou Kidou | Takeru Takaishi | Hikari Yagami | Daisuke Motomiya | Miyako Inoue | Iori Hida | Ken Ichijouji
Tumblr media
Whether canon provides input on them or not:
Since I've already written a huge tumblr breaking analysis on what does and does not work about them, you can bet that canon provides a whole lot of input about them. I will try to keep this section as brief as possible regardless:
You have their initial set-up, which appears to be your typical "opposites/beauty and the nerd" tropes at first glance - and while they do fulfill their stereotypes to at least some degree at various parts of the series, they also frequently defy them. They're the same age and also classmates, making them one of the few characters who have known each other (very superficially) even before the events of Adventure - and they start off rather roughly. While both of them are portrayed as oddballs in their own ways (enjoying questionable food combinations, being very focused on the things they're interested in, etc.), they have very different priority systems. Basically, whenever these two are the focus in an episode (namely the infamous episode 10 of Adventure), a scene (namely their interactions in "Diablomon Strikes Back) or a plot-point (namely their interactions throughout the first four Tri movies), it's usually about them having to come to terms with their different approach systems:
Koushirou is the rational type, who focuses on solving a problem by going through the entire PDCA cycle, trying to figure out each and every puzzle piece and gather all information to come to a conclusion. Mimi's judgement is based more on emotions, feelings and instinct, she likes to skip the first three steps of the PDCA cycle and does what she thinks is best for everyone - and that's where these two tend to clash. While Koushirou absolutely can be a hands-on person who jumps into action when necessary, he has a hard time understanding Mimi's reasoning sometimes, especially when she demands him to take her/other people's feelings into account. They do have very different energy levels in that regard - which, on the other hand, is also what makes their DSB interactions so entertaining to watch, as she is just very happy to be back in Japan, wanting his attention (extroverted dominance), while he's absolutely done trying to save the world once again (introverted exhaustion).
While their fights can turn out to be rather exhausting whenever they're not able to communicate well and also whenever they cannot admit that the other may have had a point (especially in Tri), they do work best once they actually reconcile and combine their strengths; whether it's when he is leaving his laptop behind (once) to tear down a wall to save her, admitting that acting is better than thinking sometimes (episode 10), when she praises his skills and achievements up to the point of them even working on her online shop together (Tri + Kizuna/To Sora), or when he leaves his laptop at home once again after being told to do so by her, just to come to the conclusion that this helped him to actually think about what he wants to do in the future (Stageplay).
There is a reason why they're among the most popular ships in the Digimon fandom world-wide due to their interesting dynamics (see here and here). So much so that there was even an audio drama explicitly functioning as fanservice, making Koushirou write a love letter to someone and having Mimi be rather infuriated by the idea that it was for Hikari instead of herself. While instances like this (and DSB) formed the preferred fandom headcanon of Mimi having a crush on Koushirou, Tri canonized him having developed a crush on her instead - even though said crush was rather treated in a comic relief manner without serving a development trigger in either of their arcs, as the main focus had been, once again, them having very different view-points instead.
Long story short - there is A LOT to work with. Even though I have to say that, in my opinion, Tri did not really work for them. The recycled conflict between them (rational vs. emotional) could have been great if it had been intertwined in their respective arcs (self-isolation vs. selfishness), but was NEVER properly resolved. The crush never led to anything but fanservice (while also reducing Koushirou's character to that in a "they had to dumb him down so he couldn't figure out the plot immediately" way). I actually prefer their portrayal in the stageplay (as well as in Kizuna/To Sora), which is why I chose the screenshot above - but let me elaborate on that...
Whether I think why and how they’d work:
The "opposites attract trope", if done right, can be a very appealing one - and, as mentioned, it explains why these two are as popular as a romantic ship as they are. As mentioned above, I do prefer their portrayal in the stageplay as opposed to Tri; while their personalities were still very much on opposing ends, there was a lot more familiarity and closeness between them, which could have been the natural development after they had started to come to terms with their "differences" after episode 10 of Adventure, throughout 02 and up to this point. Mimi scolding Koushirou for relying on his laptop too much is met with him seeming rather helpless, exhausted by her attitude at first - however, instead of just acting obediently and leaving his laptop at home to please her, he uses that twice: Once by teasing her, pretending to have withdrawal symptoms and scaring her in the process, ACTUALLY joking around intentionally and playfully for once! Secondly, he actually talks about his own dreams, feeling inspired by her and indirectly thanking her for that (the crush does not seem to exist at this point btw). And that is a mutual point for them, as Mimi also confesses to Sora that, while she's currently not crushing on anyone, she also feels inspired by Koushirou to maybe do "something with computers" in the future (which, as we know, will actually happen by the time of Kizuna).
And that is what, as mentioned above, could be their greatest strength as a romantic couple. They're AWARE of their different energy levels and, after all these years, they've started to gain an understanding of the other's needs in terms of emotional and mental affection. At least they SHOULD BE. Instead, Tri implied that Koushirou suddenly started to get interested in fashion JUST for the sake of impressing Mimi - which is not what his character is about at all and misunderstood his entire arc of accepting himself the way he is. Having him bend over backwards to impress the person he fell in love with, hiding behind an app to tell him how to dress, would always result in him never opening up - sure, he's been able to stand his ground against her, but that only resulted in them shouting at each other in Tri, unable to really understand each other. And Tri COULD have used that to make Mimi comment on how it didn't matter what he wore as long as he felt comfortable with it. Because - again, they're both weird in their own ways and wouldn't be themselves if they changed for the sake of someone else. But that conclusion was never reached.
In an ideal world, I feel like they could just have naturally progressed from 02 to the Stageplay to Kizuna/To Sora; with Koushirou becoming more aware and considerate towards Mimi needing attention and affection and Mimi learning that there are times when Koushirou needs to be left to solve his riddles, with words of encouragement in between. The Kizuna promo art of her looking absolutely amazed at whatever he had managed to make out of her online shop while he beams at her with fondness and pride is how I could see them working out just fine. Sure, there would be moments of them clashing again - but they'd be able to deal with that without him turning into an obedient puppy or her turning into an enraged harpy. There can be a sense of protectiveness and gentleness between them, learning from and complementing each other without actively trying to CHANGE the other, enjoying each other's company as well as spending time apart, as long as they have something to gush over together (whether that's online shops, food, their friends - or, like in the reboot, the actual fact that Mimi's grandfather is the manufacturer of Koushirou's tablet. The potential of them actually having business-related rambles is just too good to pass on).
Whether I’d prefer them as platonic or romantic ship:
Alright, enough rambles - throughout all this time spent analyzing their romantic potential, I have actually grown more fond of them as a couple. Despite that, I still prefer them as platonic business friends, since I primarily ship each of them with other characters. Still, I love the idea of them growing more and more close and familiar through the years (which is basically canon at this point anyway), teasing and praising each other, making jokes, gossiping over their friends, etc. (Though I would actually like to see them in an OT3 with Taichi - because in my opinion, both Mimi and Taichi care deeply about Koushirou and he'd be such a wonderful bisexual disaster around them. Plus, I thoroughly despise certain fandom depictions of Michi cheating on Koushirou with each other, because that couldn't be further from their actual personalities.)
ALRIGHT, NEXT.
Depending on what you want to look at: There isn't much. While you referred to them as "non common ship", I do believe there is quite a fanbase for them out there. However, I'm inclined to agree that it is mainly based on two factors: Both of them being highly attractive characters and the potential they could have due to their personalities (and the tropes they represent).
Throughout Adventure 01 and 02, I actually cannot remember any significant interactions these two had with each other; Yamato starts off having a hard time approaching the others, he's not exactly closed off or aloof, but is mainly focused on taking care of Takeru. Him ACTIVELY bonding with others happens very rarely, so when he's not contemplating things (sometimes together with Jyou), or argues or fights with and alongside Taichi, he doesn't really have any capacities to interact with Mimi - who, in turn, is more likely to play around with Takeru or spend time with Sora or Jyou. At first glance, Yamato is the classic introvert to Mimi being an extrovert, which is not only displayed by their colour palettes being VERY different (warm shades of red and pink vs. cold shades of green and blue), but also by their energy levels. While they're both very outspoken and opinionated - they never talk to each other in either 01 and 02. In the novel, there are even several instances of their energy levels and approaches being that different that they actually clash with each other, actively fighting.
Thus, figuring out their dynamics is rather difficult - there are just minor instances (and characteristics) that COULD make them rather interesting; one of the most famous moments in 01 is the way Yamato tells Taichi off, demanding him to give them - and Mimi in particular - time and space to mourn the loss of the Digimon that have already died, implying that he's sympathizing with her. Yamato has definitely experienced loss in his life already after the divorce of his parents and still struggles with feeling inadequate as a brother to Takeru - while Mimi comes from one of the happiest, most peaceful families in the series. Her purity, her sense of wanting to achieve peace without sacrifices almost appears as a stark contrast to Yamato's "corruption" later on; when he demands Taichi to fight him, trying to solve things in a rather violent way, it's almost a shame that someone like Mimi is not able to stop him there and then (since deep down inside, he doesn't want to fight either). And that's where I assume fandom likes to step in using their personalities to form headcanons:
Mimi being a positive influence, a genuine force of sincerity to (literally) pull Yamato out of his (more negative) tendencies, helping him to be more honest with himself as well - almost in an actual "Beauty and the Beast" kind of way. Neither Tri or Kizuna really elaborated on their dynamics - but the former did like to imply that they are indeed opposing forces, twice; the situation depicted above shows the group coming together after Mimi had another fight with Koushirou. Meiko feels like a burden, since she was the reason Mimi and Koushirou clashed in the first place, as he tried to interrogate her in a moment of emotional vulnerability, while Mimi called him out for being insensitive. Yamato voices his concern towards Meiko, telling her to stop worrying them - and both Taichi and Sora step in, saying that Yamato was just genuinely worried about her, to which Mimi tries to call him a "Tsundere". He just deflects by telling her that she cannot speak proper Japanese and that she's just making things more complicated (because she refuses to take a step towards Koushirou at this point). The other instance is within the stageplay - where Yamato tells Mimi to stay away from his cooking, fearing that her extravagant tastes (bananas and fish) may ruin the dish...
Long story short - they don't appear to be very compatible as friends canonically. So, again, that's where headcanons have to step in.
Whether I think why and how they’d work:
As mentioned above, due to their contrasting set-ups, family backgrounds and way of attraction, there is an appeal that may make them quite popular in singular online spaces. Mimi is a natural people-magnet due to her openness and tendency to become the center of attention very quickly, she easily befriends everyone around her (even if some may find her controversial, as depicted in Tri) and tries to spread a positive spirit. Whereas Yamato, despite being a band leader (that is also very popular), is indeed more closed-off, with a very selective group of friends he is very committed to and protective of (maybe even possessive to some degree, as you can imagine he is not good at dealing with losses). From an outside view, they almost have that "idol-like vibe" that makes them very attractive - so it's no surprise fandom sees them as an intriguing and compelling combination to end up together. Due to them being as opinionated as they are, they may clash a lot - but similarly to Koumi, that COULD be also a strength, as it is important for characters like Yamato to ACTUALLY speak their mind without hiding behind a mask. Plus, Yamato needs someone he can truly be vulnerable around with, because he's a lot softer (and awkward) than his facade would make you believe at first glance. The question is - would he be able to let loose around Mimi like that? It's very hard to tell, because unlike with Koumi, we don't really know if she understands how he rolls. Sure, she can see that he has VERY Tsundere-like tendencies, tough shell, soft and caring on the inside - but up to this point, they're not close (or even comfortable) enough for him to not deny that rather aggressively (especially because Taichi and Sora were actually a lot quicker to pick that up - which is no surprise either, because they're canonically closer to him). So it feels more like they'd be prone to fight for dominance than being able to take a step towards each other (even more strongly than Koumi, because Mimato may take disagreement as a personal attack and can't even seem to bond over their passion for cooking together at this point in time).
Mimi, on the other hand, also needs someone who can keep up with her - people like Jyou and Koushirou, as we've seen, should be used to her habits already, but it is very difficult to tell whether Yamato would have the energy and patience to deal with her, giving her the assurance and attention she needs.
Long story short, the potential is there due to their personalities, but we never learn if and how they'd be able to interact on a closer level.
Whether I’d prefer them as platonic or romantic ship:
Admittedly, they're a relationship I have pretty much no attachment to, simply due to the fact that canon never gave me a reason to believe that they'd think of each other as "close friends", let alone "romantic partners". As they're both Chosen Children, they would surely protect and fight for each other, no question - but everything beyond that never gave me positive vibes. Which is actually a shame, because they're both (potentially) good with Jyou and Takeru, Team Hope exists for a reason after all (and I even ship both Mimi and Yamato with Jyou, yet I couldn't imagine them being an actual OT3). Heck, they're also both (supposedly) very close to Sora, yet they never had a group moment together. Even in the reboot, they were mainly just arguing and never had a positively reaffirming moment together. So I must say, I rather think of them as acquaintances than anything else.

Deltarune and Strangerhood
For the best reading experience, listen to Born a Stranger from To the Moon.
There's this feeling that I keep coming back to whenever I talk about Deltarune. It's a little bit tricky to put it into words, but I want to try anyway, because I'm not sure if I've seen anyone express it in relation to DR.
So, in Undertale, you're frisk and frisk is you, more or less. You don't know the world you've entered, or who anyone is, their history, their baggage. You have no clue about any of that stuff, and as a human in the Underground, no one expects you to know. You can just be yourself, discovering this new place and making new friends.
In Deltarune, it's different. You can't be yourself, because you're stuck with kris. People have expectations for kris, because Kris has lived here for their whole life and they already know everyone. They are connected to their home in a way that you aren't. You're alienated from everyone and everything, and worse yet, you're alienated from them too. They are a whole person, and you have no idea how they feel about you. Judging from how they act with you, though, surely those feelings can't be too positive. But it's not like you have any way of telling them you aren't happy either, you're just stuck this way.
The-hard-to-describe-feeling that Deltarune gives me is that of strangerhood. Of knowing very deeply that no matter what you do, you'll be a stranger. You're alien, both to the world, and your assigned partner.
The outsider feeling is why I'm so fiaxted on Noelle and Berdly's trainwreck of a friendship. There's just so much about Noelle that Berdly probably doesn't know, and he's so bad at picking up on social cues and she's so bad at just saying how she feels that there's this giant rift in communication between him and his closest friend. No matter what he does, it'll be hard for him to be as good a friend to Noelle as Kris is. No matter what he does, he'll be a stranger.
Additionally, the outsider feeling comes back whenever certain things, people, or memories are brought up by the characters. Like Dess. She's a stranger to me, but clearly someone really important to everyone, and she's gone. Situations like that are hard for me. I've always been afraid of having to console a grieving person because it seems like something that's so easy to mess up, especially when you never knew the person they lost. And you can't just say or do nothing, because that could hurt them too! Kris would probably know what to say, but they can't, because I'm here. Or with Asriel, I kind of know him... but the Asriel I knew didn't live a life even remotely like that of Deltarune Asriel, so he's functionally a total stranger. Kris clearly has all kinds of feelings about their older brother, who they were incredibly close to and lived in the shadow of, but right now it's impossible for them to just talk to us about those feelings.
I'm very curious as to whether Deltarune makes anyone else feel this way. I should mention something personal that I think is really important here: I'm autistic. I grew up not knowing how to read people in the same way that it seems like most people can do effortlessly. I've always felt like an alien, trying to figure out the rules of Earth, and I've also been quite socially isolated because of it. I'm in college now, and still learning how to establish and maintain friendships, making up for the practice that I missed as a kid when I figured that trying to reach out to my classmates would be too hard and too much work and that I could just entertain myself during recess by reading my favorite books or just watching everyone else. Deltarune resonates with me a lot because of that.
I'm not sure if the feelings it gives me were intentional, and I haven't seen anyone else talk about getting these feelings from the game either. That's part of why I made this post, I want to know if anyone else feels the same way. Thanks for reading.

Mahou Tsugumi – Voice Actor Next Generation
Tumblr media
(Note: Mahou Tsugumi is a former Takarazuka actress of the 95th class and the douki/classmate of Yuzuka Rei and Minami Maito, also in the Flower Troupe before. Ever since her graduation, I’ve followed her closely on her social medias and she’s still paying attention to Flower Troupe performances as an OG. Now, she went into voice acting work and this is a recent article of her.)
「VOICE ACTOR NEXT GENERATION」introduces the current hit of young voice actors with interviews and photos. We invited Mahou Tsugumi-san who won the voice actor audition for the TV animation production project “X ANIME” for the collaboration project between「X Beyond - The world of Year 5055 -」CHET Group and MECERE by Sony Music Rebels.
■PROFILE
Mahou Tsugumi ● Born on January 7. Free (artist). Active in the Takarazuka Revue till February 2022. After graduating, she participated in this audition because she “wanted to do some job related to her voice”. She’s aiming to expand her career as a voice actor.
Please tell us why you wanted to be a voice actor.
I’ve always loved acting and during the pandemic “stay-home” period, I’ve come across many animes and movies and was moved by the power of the voice so I always aspired to be a “voice actor”. Because I felt how warm and touching my heart could be through entertainment, I also wanted to bring warmth to anyone’s hearts in the same way, so I have this goal.
What’s your interests or skills?
I like eating delicious food in the streets. During the audition, I also like to write articles. I also love to read articles related to vacations and food. My special skill is speaking conversational Chinese. I hope to improve while speaking more.
What will you do during your rest days?
When I’m at home, I watch movies and anime, read manga, and recently write articles. I also enjoy reciting the lines from various productions. When I’m going out, I’d have a meal or go to a cafe with my friends and then go watch some musicals. While going there, I’d have a lot of thoughts and jotting them down when I’m out is fun.
Please tell us why you joined this audition.
While thinking about wanting to do some job related to voice, I knew about this audition and thought “this is it!”. Also, I’ve always wanted a place where I could still connect to the fans after graduating from Takarazuka Revue, so I wanted to challenge this audition opportunity through the livestreams. Though I was nervous about this, I felt this instinct that “if I don’t challenge this great chance, I’ll regret it for my life” and just directly went straight for it. I was so thankful for those that supported me during that time.
How did you feel when you saw that you won?
During those 3 months, I gave in my all to do my best, and I felt this same passion charging with me through. For those fans who embraced that “Grand Premium(グランプリ)” moment with me, I only have thoughts full of gratitude. “It’s because everyone was there” that I shed thankful tears.
Please give a message to the fans who have been supporting you!
Thank you to everyone whom I’ve met, and also the abundant support I’ve received through this voice acting. I’m so full of this happiness from all the support that I should definitely grasp and cherish this “first step” and do my very best from now on. Because I’ve always felt how great this “power of achieving your dreams” is, I hope everyone could remember that dreams are attainable, and believe that there is so much possibility and I’ll repay my gratitude to everyone through my coming projects and continue to be active. I hope that you can support me from now on ever more!

JUST A LITTLE JOKE | RAMBLES
a/n: yummy yummy, im eating this for dinner. i also may be hyperfixating over minho from maze runners.

blushy, whimpy sub known to be the jokester—always fooling around, always up to something, always causing a ruckus. Someone who can NEVER take anything seriously. Being scolded? looking at his friends and stifling his snickers, having an emotional moment? says a joke out loud, presenting his group’s work? jumbling up his words and laughing.
blushy, whimpy sub who seriously can’t keep his mouth shut. Like seriously, he says the most out-of-pocket things, yet somehow, that still entertains everyone. His voice is also noticeably loud, but even when he whispers, he’s just talking in a slightly lower voice. However, no one can complain about it because, in the end, he always finds a way for them to smile.
blushy, whimpy sub who’s causing a big stir at the back of the class during lunchtime. Then the topic turned to you, the calm and quiet kid almost everyone in the class admired—and he wasn’t better than them. When the topic of you was brought up, and everyone agreed that you were boyfriend material, he started joking about things. Things that may or may not have gone too far as he wanted the attention to stray away from you. Not so nice things.
blushy, whimpy sub who was pinned to the wall behind the bleachers. Sweat dripping down his forehead as he tried to explain that he was only joking and that he didn’t mean all that stuff, nervously fiddling with his jacket’s sleeve. He looked everywhere but you, having trouble making eye contact with you. And then you grabbed his chin, forcing him to look at you. A small whimper was heard; God, he was so embarrassed.
blushy, whimpy sub who tried his best to play it off. He tried his best to ignore what happened between you and him days ago, yet even as he causes a stir, even when he talks to those around him, and even when he sleeps, he can’t help but think about what happened. He swears to God that he feels like pulling his hair out. He groans out loud whenever he remembers, faces turning red and him covering his face again for the one-hundredth time.
blushy, whimpy sub who’s yet again confronted by you, this time about avoiding you—in a secluded alleyway after being dragged out of a nightclub. While he avoided you, the tension between you two grew, and, of course, your classmates noticed. The said classmates always find a way for the two of you to be together, whether paired assignments or presentations—it’s been a couple of weeks like that, and he’s also gone insane because of it. He KNEW this was going to happen sooner or later.
blushy, whimpy sub who got hard as soon as you started touching him. His face was already flushing with red from the proximity to you. And when your lips feverishly kissed his, saliva being exchanged as your tongue invaded his mouth, he felt himself growing, warming inside. Your hands traced and groped his sides, the goosebumps forming from your actions. He clung to you tightly, his hands shaky, and yet he had a vice grip on you while you pressed him harder against the wall. He can feel moans forming at the back of his throat, but you always swallowed it.
blushy, whimpy sub whose knees felt like buckling. Muffled whimpers and whines dragged out of his mouth. His eyes were hazily looking at how you pump his dick, your thumb pushing against his tip before your hand goes down to the base and slowly drags up. He shivers at the coldness of the air surrounding you two, his breaths shaky and uneven. He jolts at the feeling of your nail dragging against his dick, eliciting a pretty moan from his mouth. You just started playing with him, but he’s already putty around your hands.
blushy, whimpy sub that, just like his usual self, is loud. Two of your fingers were deep inside his hole, sliding in and out smoothly from the slick he provided with his cum. You press your hand against his mouth again, degrading him about how much of a slut he was for doing this outside. Your hush whispers of degrading words played a part in making his mind go fuzzier, his face growing warmer. His mind was fogged up; he could only muffle out tiny pleas and whines for you. He could barely think of anything else, just focusing on your voice as you add another digit in him. Fucking him deep with just your fingers and making him cum with the degrading words that seep through.
blushy, whimpy sub who has his underwear in his mouth, yet it still didn’t stop him from being loud. His eyes were unfocused, staring at nothing in particular—they rolled back through from a harsh thrust. His face pressed against the cold, rough brick walls, yet the brick’s surface only made him grow harder. He felt your hands gripping tightly on his hips, using them as leverage to thrust into him. His hardened nipples grazed against the rough surface from every thrust. He felt so warm, so fuzzy and warm, he could only imagine how good this felt.
blushy, whimpy sub who wakes up beside you. In your room, alone with you and naked with each other. You surprisingly greet him with a good morning kiss, gently caressing his hips as you press soft kisses on his hickey-littered neck. He lets out a soft whimper from your behavior, slightly confused about how he got here. He felt himself growing warm again, blushing both in embarrassment and in desire—letting out a groan before straddling you and going at it again.
You two might’ve forgotten that there was school that day but who cares at that point?

The Personal Growth Industry Needs A Makeover
“I’ve been in therapy for nine years, and although my therapist has been helpful, I’m still battling with the same feelings of not being enough. I keep procrastinating and sabotaging my business, and it has to stop.
I have lost so many opportunities, but I don’t know what to do. It feels like I haven’t gotten deep enough into the real issues that are blocking my growth. I’ve watched your testimonials and done a lot of research on you, and believe you’ll be the one who can finally help me get past this.”
I hear stories like that every day, and it makes me so upset.
Nobody should have to be in therapy for nine years and still feel the same way as before they started.
Three significant issues are causing a major problem in the personal development industry.
Traditional psychology and social work training provides outdated tools that produce poor and inconsistent client outcomes. They also aren’t equipping therapists with practice-building skills.
Life coaching schools and Hypnotherapy certifications are flooding the market with students missing the same rapid transformation skills as psychologists and therapists. They also need more confidence and the business/marketing systems to grow a financially successful practice and create a more significant impact.
Ego-driven characters and internet marketers are pumping out cheap NLP-knock-off certification programs that harm the personal development industry because people are tired of wasting money on poorly trained coaches and consultants. If everyone is an “expert” because they went through a $500 online course, that word has lost meaning!
Let’s go through the first of these problems, and then I’ll provide a resolution since it’s annoying when someone complains about an issue but doesn’t offer possible solutions.
Traditional psychology programs produce the same poor results as a high school education.
The public has been complaining about the need to update the education system in America for a long time. The original design of our education system was to train factory workers, but our children would thrive much more if taught how to think like entrepreneurs, collaborators, and innovators.
I watched an interview on the topic of America being the greatest country in the world and was shocked and moved when one of the famous panelists disagreed and shared unsettling stats. It’s worth watching.
The psychology industry also needs an overhaul.
Sadly, the profession attracts large egos and wounded people who don’t always have others’ best interests in mind.
While attending college and two graduate schools to learn clinical psychotherapy methods from 1988-1996, I encountered and witnessed certain professors abuse their power and gain satisfaction from making students cry and doubt themselves.
Plus, the intervention tools learned hardly had any positive or lasting effect on clients, except for what I experienced from Dr. John Harris, who introduced us to a controversial modality during a Counseling Processes class called Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
Although it was the only class where I experienced fast and lasting transformation, other professors didn’t take that approach seriously.
Instead, they emphasized psychological testing, rewards and punishments, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, an elaborate and sometimes complicated form of positive thinking.
To be clear, there were and are, wonderful psychology professors teaching and making a difference for their students, and I did learn valuable lessons from many of them.
Yet, my destiny changed in 1990 while taking one of the 33 psychology courses I completed at the college/graduate level.
It was a Psychological Interventions class, and the instructor brought guest speakers to present their work.
One of them was a Hypnotherapist, and when I volunteered to get hypnotized so I could make my classmates laugh (I got my self-worth from entertaining others, even when it landed me in serious trouble), it set me on a course to learn how to use Hypnosis so others could experience the deep inner peace I felt that day.
Since my first psychology class in 1988, I’ve become obsessed with finding proven methods for producing positive, lasting, and often immediate results for people regardless of their presenting situation or symptoms.
Over the last 35 years, and facilitating over 15,000 individual sessions and hundreds of group coaching programs on a wide variety of personal and professional growth-related subjects, I figured out what those precise methods are and turned them into a series of unconscious reprogramming experiences called the One Belief Away™ Method.
I’ve discovered that you are just one belief away from having a significant breakthrough that will almost instantly transform all areas of your life.
That would have sounded too good to be true if I had heard someone say that, which is why I’ve documented the results for twenty years with thousands of written, video, and audio client testimonials.
Although I’ve been teaching my Hypnosis methods and Certifying people to become Hypnotherapists since 2007, I’m relaunching a new One Belief Away™ Certification program on May 15, 2023 to fix all the issues I’ve pointed out.
Watch for Part 2 of this tomorrow, as I have a lot of feedback to share from life coaches and Hypnotists who are all struggling with the same challenges.
Thanks for reading!
Have a productive day

OMG I AM IN A DAD NANAMI BRAIN RIOT!!!
Nanami's daughter is ofc is polite and well mannered BUT have thus chaotic energy like her mom(well atleast my version of yn is chaotic) Kid literally punch her bully no hesitation whatsoever
Also i just want Yuji to be her BEST bro and babysitter (I KNOW gojo WANT to be her babysitter but lets not talk abt him🙄plssss) Also Yuji is lowkey HIGHKEY part of the Nanami family ❤❤❤PLSSS i would accept that baby boy without a doubt fuck sukuna
good to know that you trust me enough with dad!nanami c: now let me make it everyone's problem.
But please - imagine him marrying you, the chaotic classmate of his that used to hang around Gojo causing everyone the world's biggest headache. Somehow you two fell in love and got married, and soon you welcomed a little girl that Nanami adores with all of his heart.
Since you had gotten pregnant a lot sooner than expected (not really - I headcanon that he always wanted a family and may or may not have planned to have kids earlier), he isn't happy with his savings just yet. So he decided to continue to work as a sorcerer. Maybe take a more laid-back job like a lecturer at the college so he can spend more time with your kid, but from time to time he does have to go on the odd mission and needs to leave her with someone.
And who better to leave her with than the one teenager he knows how to handle a crying child than Yuji himself. Sure, he is a whole ass kid himself, and will not hesitate to mess around with Nobara and Gojo as well (who can only hang around his daughter with supervision from another person), but Nanami practically treats him like his own kid. So it didn't take much convincing for him to become your go-to babysitter whenever you two are on missions.
Yuji is just the best older brother - he knows how to make things like chores fun and not as boring as Nanami tends to make them. He cooks great food, loves doing things like going to the park and watching movies with the kids, and makes up fun games to keep the little girl entertained. Plus he is the best cuddler, and you can fight me on that

SCENARIO REQUEST: ❝that's a little dark.❞
Tumblr media
[ Fandom: Boku no Hero Academia ] [ Characters: Class 1-A ]
「 Class 1-A with an emotionless reader who gets hit with a quirk that make them turn back into a child along with the mentality of a child. In the end, Class 1-A and then fluff ensues with them basically fawning over a cute shy and easily flustered reader. But, they discover something about you.」
You couldn't remember what you did yesterday but it felt like you had the greatest sleep in your entire life. As your eyes adjusted to the surprisingly bright light, you slowly got up and looked at your surroundings. The place was unfamiliar and for a second, you found yourself rubbing your eyes and yawning. It seemed that you were in an infirmary of some sort but you don't recall going to school or anything. There were bandages around your arms and neck but it wasn't anything new.
"Oh, you're finally awake, my child." an old lady you didn't recognize swivelled around her office chair and hopped off.
"Who are you and where am I?" you asked, voice coming out a bit weaker than you had expected.
She identified herself as Recovery Girl — the nurse of the school and explained what had happened to you. It seemed like you got hit by a quirk in an unfortunate accident which caused you to turn back into a child with no memory of yourself in the future. You didn't believe it until you saw the different technologies and the date on the calendar. Never in your life you had felt so out of place in your entire life.
While the friendly old lady was trying her best to fill you in, the door to infirmary opened and a brown haired girl stepped in. She had has shoulder length, brown hair that's bobbed and curved inwards at the end. The girl looked at you for a moment, her eyes lit up and you could sense the relief in her eyes. She dropped her belongings and rushed towards the bed you had been sitting on. You backed away on instinct, slightly intimidated by how aggressive she was being.
”Where did you get those injuries from!? I thought you just got hit by a quirk on accident!” she exclaimed, looking at the gauze wrapped around your wrists and neck.
”Calm down. You’re scaring the poor girl.” Recovery Girl stepped in before this brown haired stranger did anything to you.
Recovery Girl explained your situation to the girl who quickly understood the situation. She then approached you but this time, she did it cautiously and ensured that you wouldn’t feel uncomfortable nor intimidated by her. After a quick introduction, you leaned that she was Uraraka Ochaco and supposedly one of your classmates. She got down to your eye level and attempted to befriend you. She tried asking a few questions about yourself. You could answer the simplest questions like ones about yourself. However when it came to questions about the times you spend in UA, you shook your head to everything, none of them sounded familiar to you.
Uraraka spoke in a gentle manner that you were not used to and it didn't take long for you to get comfortable around her. She entertained you by telling stories about her life in UA and heroes. The brunette managed to make you smile a bit with her way of storytelling which included a bit of exaggeration here and there along with the occasional hand gestures.
"Uraraka-san? Are you ready to go back to the dorms?" another unfamiliar voice was heard from the entrance of the infirmary. You saw a few heads peek into the infirmary, those you did not recognize at all.
With the help of Uraraka, your situation was explained to the new people that just arrived. It didn't take long for your classmates to gather around you and pointing out how cute you were. Though it was a bit embarrassing to be put under the spotlight, you quite liked the feeling of having so many people care about you. It made you think about how bright the future seemed for you.
You were brought back to the dorms where you met up with your other classmates. Those who knew about your current situation quickly explained what was going on with you to avoid any misunderstanding and confusion. You stood awkwardly at the entrance, fiddling with the hem of your dress and looking down to avoid eye contact. Suddenly, you were pushed forward by an unknown force, falling on your knees.
“Who left their fucking child here?” a scary looking guy glared down at you as you tried recovering from the small fall you had.
”Hey, Bakugou! Mind your language!” his friend whispered at the ash blonde who just clicked his tongue in response.
Their loud voices startled you which resulted in you to hide behind Uraraka's legs as if it was the safest place in the world. You gripped tightly on her skirt, hiding yourself from the people you didn't recognize. Loud voices always made you nervous and scared, it reminded you of your mother whenever she was unsatisfied with your performance. Uraraka let her hand stroke your hair to soothe your nerves a little. Ashido stood in front of the two of you with her hands on her hips, looking like a mother reprimanding their child.
"Bakugou, you're scaring [First Name]!" the pink haired girl scolded Bakugou who seemed a bit confused.
"You're telling me this brat is [Nickname]?" he closed the distance between the two of you with a few large strides. He stared at your for a few seconds to study your face a bit. It didn't take him that long to actually recognize a few familiar features and eventually he walked off, muttering something under his breath.
"I've never seen her like this before!" Uraraka cooed as you continued to hide behind her legs. You were never the type to be in the center of attention and didn't have any friends in when you were young because of how shy and awkward you were. Ashido crouched down and offered you a small jar of cookies that she had found in the kitchen.
"Should we send her home? She might be more comfortable staying with her parents." Yaoyorozu suggested, watching you munching on the cookie that you've been handed to.
"I think its best we tell her family about it this." Iida took it upon himself to pull out his phone and prepare to dial your home.
”Are we all having a sleepover?” you spoke up after being silent almost the entire time you arrived at the dorms.
"I don't want to go home." Everyone stopped to stare at you for a while, some surprised because it was the first time they've heard you since you came back. The girls looked at each other for a while as if they were silently communicating with one another. Midoriya who seemed to be the first one to notice that you seemed a bit uncomfortable, crouched down in front of you.
"You can stay here with us if you want. I'm sure everyone is okay with that." the viridian haired male gave you a gentle smile that made you feel a bit relaxed.
"Do you like having sleepovers, [First Name]-chan?" Ashido plopped down right next to you.
"I don't have friends and mommy doesn't like having me around." you mumbled.
"That's silly. I'm sure your mother is worried about you." Iida replies.
"Nu uh, mommy strangles me like this every night.” you shook your head lightly and wrapped your hands around your neck to imitate someone strangling you. The room immediately grew silent at your comment, clearly unsure of how to respond to your oddly specific comparison.
"Haha, good joke [First Name]-chan!" Kaminari patted your head gently, his laugh clearly a forced one.
"Mommy used to pull my hair too."
You never the friendly type of person to begin with anyways. From the very first day you got into UA, you were quite anti-social, never initiating any conversations or made effort to befriend anyone. However, it was quite surprising to know that you've been abused when you were younger. Almost everyone seemed shocked by the revelation and had no idea how to react.
"My mom gave me this scar." Todoroki crouched down next to you and gestured to the scar over his eye.
”I can’t believe that the only thing closed off people have in common is the fact that they’ve been abused.” Jirou muttered out loud.
"Okay, don't worry! We're all having a sleepover tonight!" Uraraka beamed brightly which made your eyes light up like a Christmas tree. A small smile made its way to your features and you couldn't help but sway excitedly.
"Everyone is joining right?"
There was no way they could refuse those hopeful eyes of yours, not when you have been through so much at such an age. They all seemed eager, suggesting a movie, snacks and games. One particular ash blonde looked indifferent, hands shoved into his pockets as he began to slowly walk away from the crowd of people. The first person to notice that he was making his way back to his own room was Iida.
"Where are you going Bakugou-kun?" the class president had asked as if it was a natural that Bakugou was also supposed to be a part of this so called 'sleepover'. Bakugou glanced over his shoulder, eyes narrowing at Iida as if he had gone insane.
"What makes you think that I will join this stupid—" the ash blonde gestured at whatever was going on.
"But a sleepover is not one without everyone." your quiet voice interrupted, your small hands tugging at his pants. He held his tongue after seeing Iida wildly gesture at him not to be so mean to you. The entirety of the class seemed to be really hell bent on giving you what you wanted.Bakugou felt his eyebrows twitching and began weighing his options.
Sero, Ashido, Kaminari and Kirishima were openly pleading him to stay while some others seem to believe that Bakugou would never want to sit down for a stupid sleepover. The ash blonde gave in, realizing that no matter what he chose, it won't be any different. If he chose to not participate, he probably won't be able to fall asleep from all the noise. And the possibly of witnessing these extras embarrass themselves didn't sound too bad.
"Fine! You guys are so annoying....." Bakugou grumbled. Your eyes lit up at his change of heart and began tugging him enthusiastically towards the common area’s couch.
Why does he agree to the stupidest things?

"Ah yes, Mr. Jung said that class 2-4 will have a combined session with us today," one of your classmates reminded an other girl that was on leave the earlier day, you would have remembered this little detail too if you weren't so engrossed in your very interesting surrounding.
You picked up the brightly colored feathers that served as a decoration for your classroom, from the ground. They were stuck on long threads with glue, and some were separated from the thread as a result of the dried up glue.
An idea struck your head. You held the threads on your hand and curled it around your ears and stuck some red and blue feathers into your hair, and climbed onto your table and started making weird noises.
You were always the entertainer of the class, every class had one, didn't they? This didn't mean that you didn't at all care about school stuff, you did your work on time and surprise tests got your nerves crying in your blood.
What others thought never really mattered to you, and it wasn't even a bother in class 2-3, the girls were always immersed in the screens of those little devices and the boys were always busy creating an evil plan to conquer the whole world. Your two close friends and some other girls were the only one that gave you a little attention you deserved.
"Oh darn, Y/N, hahahah!" Your best friend, F/N said as she clutched her stomach to stop the pain from laughing so hard. "God, are you pretty?" You hoped a little and continued your silly little dance with the colors of the feather and it felt good standing on a high stage and have your fans clap around you. Oh yes.
From the door to your classroom came some muffled voices and sounds of dragging chairs. You looked back but no one came into the class, might be some other freshmen students, you couldn't care less.
Jisung, complaining under his breath and slightly irritated by the rush of his classmates, entered class 2-3 just to see the sight of you dancing, acting like a cuckoo. His thoughts of being roiled all vanished as a smile spread across his face.
"I'm sitting on Y/N's table, where are you sitting, Ji?" Asked Jaemin as he passed by the former to go to your groups table.

"And I will be sitting here, Y/N." Declared Jaemin as he pulled his chair near yours and made some space for Chenle and Jisung. "So will some other dudes." You had got down from the table and laughing over it with your friends when you heard a deep voice saying your name.
"What are you doing here?" You looked at the boy from the other class quizzically, not realizing that you still have the feather accessories on you. "Mr. Jung's class. Don't tell me you don't know, he announced this just this morning." He put his notebooks down and pulled out some pencils and started doodling on the back of his book.
Wait so if Jaemin is here, and if he's from class 2-4, and Jaemin is Jisung's classmate because Jisung is also in class 2-4 then Jisung must be here too. Taking a while to process everything, you remembered that Mr. Jung did that say 'that' and that you still had your beautiful, beautiful hair clips around your ears and on your hair. Your hands reached to pull them out but your eyes caught sight of Jisung pulling his chair next to Jaemin's. Oh shoot.
You quickly pulled out the feathers out and just prayed in your little heart that no one saw you goofing around. Too much for not caring about what others think. Well, it was okay if the one who saw was Jaemin and Chenle. You guys were childhood friends and you very well knew how much more weirder they were than you. But Jisung was different, he mattered. Everyone's first crush do, don't they? And your feelings for your first crush had followed you till sophomore year from middle school.
"Oh hey, Y/N," Jisung said as he tried to hide his obvious smile. All you could do was nod to hide your embarrassed face, and quickly sit on your seat. You wished you'd just dissolve in thin air.
Mr. Jung entered the classroom as all of you stood up and greeted the teacher. "Yes, today we'll b starting with Unit4, Algebra.." He said but all you could think about was sitting next to your crush. Jaemin wanted to sit with Chenle and Jisung didn't like sitting on the seat right next to the aisle, so he had changed seats with Jaemin and you were very distracted.
Jisung was just so effortlessly gorgeous, everything he did was glorious, the way he held his pen, the way his right brow raised when he didn't understand the lesson, the way his bleached hair fell just perfectly on his forehead exposing a little of his forehead, the way he was right next to you and that he knew nothing about your heart that was about to explode as it banged on your rib cage desperate to escape.
"Oh here," Jisung said handing you a small piece of yellow paper, without even looking at you for a second, he continued to take notes. You were cut off from your reverie, startled, you opened the folded piece of paper.
『 i won't be surprised if you failed
algebra and if jisung has a hole right
through his face, you've been literally
staring at him for straight 35minutes 』
You, realizing what you were doing, flushed a pink tint all over your cheeks. You looked up to see who passed you the paper and Jaemin was there smirking behind Jisung who was bent down to write in his book.
'What?' You mouthed to him. Jaemin, still smirking looked away and shook his head slightly.
Since the very embarrassing moment, Jaemin always invited no, dragged you to small hangouts at cafés with his whole squad. It was very awkward at first but as time went by, you grew used to their presence, you got to know other four friends of Jaemin and everything was worth it.
You and Jisung talked but it was invariably the same, about school or just some shit talks about how annoying Jaemin is and how cute his smile is. It was like this since middle school when you guys first talked on Jaemin's birthday party.
You felt that Jaemin knew how you felt but it wasn't only him, Chenle knew the whole shit, but they always chose to not interfere and make you two go on a date or something. They always said 'Fate does his work well, just wait'.
"Guys, what will I be getting for Christmas? It's like nine days away and we've prepared what?" Haechan beamed as he had flowery thoughts for Christmas.
"Why are you the only one not prepared?" Jaemin said as he took another sip on his lemon-flavored iced coffee. "What? You guys did not!" You smiled at the boys laughing and teasing Haechan. Jisung was seated across of your seat, you took your chance to stare at him as he smiled the world's brightest eye smile. He was laughing and it was the most melodious sound you've ever heard. You found yourself smiling contently.
"I see where this is going," Mark who was right beside you, leaned down and whispered in your ear, startling you. "What? No, I wasn't, I was just, i mean-" You tried to reason out but he just nodded and gave a knowing smile. One more on the list.
"I am having a party at my place, my parents said that they will be going to grandma's for Christmas and I, being a responsible son, told them that I'll go home after Christmas eve to look after the house."
"That's very responsible of you, Chenle."
"Shut up, Jeno. Anyways, let's have our outfits picked and you guys 'need' to be there, see how the host is personally inviting you all. And it's a themed-party, this one will be like a Halloween part2 because we had tests on October."

"What will you be going as, Y/N?" Jisung spoke as he walked beside you while exiting the café. The sun was setting in the west, the sky was lilac-colored, the night air replacing the atmosphere of the morning brought a sense of calmness.
"I am not sure whether I'll even be able to come, what about you?" You noticed he was looking down at you, the height difference was crazy, as well as the fact that his face perfectly went in pair with the sky's color.
"What? You need to come, it'd be boring without you." He said almost complaining.
"W-what?"
"I-I mean, Chenle did invite us personally and all the eight of us must be there."
"Oh. Since it's with Jaemin, I'm guessing my mom will consider me leaving for the night." He nodded. The two of you walked in silence as school stuffs were too far away to talk about and Jaemin wasn't annoying these days. But weirdly, the silence wasn't awkward, it was surprisingly comforting, a smile spread across your face of all that was made of today.
"I hope you're coming," Jaemin said catching up to you just when you were nearing the bus station to get home.
You smiled bitterly, remembering the last Sunday, you taking the whole day just to decide what to go as, you browsed the net, asked your mom, nagged your friends but it had taken less than a second to decide what to buy once you got into the costume store in Hongdae.
There were stacks and stacks of hanboks in one aisle and you had instantly fallen in love. But then again, there were a lot to choose from so you searched for a hanbok that ancient queens wore, something that would have the features of an olden royalty clothing, because gorl were you of the superior human race.
Going through it, you found one, no two hanboks, it was a king/queen couple hanbok, the king's hanbok had a beautiful navy blue color with gold embroidery, you weren't that big of a fan of the huge head accessory.
Since Mark asked if you wanted help with picking a costume, you thought it'd be polite to send him a picture, so you did and told him about the situation. He wanted to come over to the store but you said that you were going to buy this and that it was decided.
"Of course, I am, don't want the money I spent on my costume to go to waste now, do we," You looked over at the boy. His eyes were literally glowing in the bright sunlight. You reached out your hand and zipped his bag for him, it was something Jaemin was always forgetful about. "Oh thank you. I won't ask what you're going as, make sure to be in time!"
"I will be before time, I want to help you guys, how 'bout I come at around 3pm?" You asked as you boarded the bus with Jaemin following suit. You guys lived just four blocks away and it was convenient to use the same bus. "Your costume won't be a surprise then."
"Oh it'd be uncomfortable too, anyways I'll go back home and change or something, oh, i know, I'll bring it in a bag with me." You pointed as you sat down. "Do that then, but really, you don't even have to help, we'll manage!"
You piped frosting on the last gingerbread man and then stretched. "And that's a wrap!" The other two boys were just about done with the X-mass tree.
"Yep, now we're free." Chenle dusted his hands and smiled. "We've finished an hour earlier, now you can go and change or something, girls do take quite a while getting ready, don't they?" Jaemin said as he looked at the time on his watch.
You rolled your eyes. "Yeah, I'm gonna go now."
You took your time getting ready in Chenle's room, it was pretty well, very spacious enabling you to move around and practice walking in the big dress of a hanbok. You walked down the staircase, and most of the people had already arrived, the girls looked amazing and the boys well, dashing, you coughed.
You had on you a beautiful, bright hanbok. The lower part of the dress, Chima, literally flowed, it was of a wine red shade, and the top part, the Jeogori was dark red in color, almost a scarlet red, and it was decorated with embroidered symbols which were done in gold, showing that you were an empress.
On the hem of your dress, you carried a Phoenix symbol. Your hair was let out loose and you had done some light wavy curls, because you knew big turban-hairstyles would make you look like a literal potato. After putting on some minimal makeup and some liptint, you were on it.
"Bow before your queen, peasant!" You held a spatula on your right hand to knight your best buddies and your left hand held your hanbok from sweeping the floor, you were really trying to look at the very least, a little elegant.
People were complimenting you and Mark again looked at you with that same knowing smile from the day at the café before telling you something nice.
You had notice the other boys, they were dressed in weird clothes, one was pennywise, one was micheal jackson and one was petter pan, everyone who was invited was to see how much of a crackhead your friends were.
You were having a lot of fun but a little part of inside of you were searching for a sight of Jisung, you hadn't seen him all day.
"You're in for the Christmas Couple Contest for tonight, right?" A girl that was from Jaemin's class interrupted you from knighting your fellow brave citizens for holding this party. Also by 'couple' ? you've got the wrong person.
"Well, find me a king and I'm in," You shrugged and turned back to look at Chenle and Jaemin, the peasants of Y/Nland but they were busy having a little fangirl moment of something you wanted to know.
"I'm in then," a familiar voice spoke from behind you, your cheeks, in response, took a crimson color. Oh shoot.
Jisung walked to your direction, his pink-colored hair slightly curled, fell over his usual luminous eyes, the only difference, you noticed was he had grey contacts in his right eye which on his left eye wasn't present, his ears had long hanging silver earrings throwing in a hint of modernness into his outfit.
And if this was what coincidence was, you were ready to believe in all those 'fate' bs. Jisung was wearing the corresponding costume to yours making you guys a match.
The navy blue brocade, looked just right on his proportionate body, everything looks so good, Jisung was a walking art.
"Okay, you two it is then," the girl interrupted again as she jotted down some names and made way to some other group of people listing their names on the sheet.
"Now you two can dance," Mark said as he pushed you and Jisung out of the counter area and onto the dance floor.
You were vigorously shaking your head but you noticed that Jisung was just calm and going with the flow, you doubted why he was acting weird, to make matters worse, he grabbed your hand and walked you to the dance floor.
He held your two hands and started moving side to side, to make the atmosphere calm down, there were people around the two of you, there were best friends, couples and classmates dancing with each other but everything was a blur beside Jisung, it was like nothing in the world mattered but him.
Jisung's pale skin was flushed with a tint of pink, his left hand had a Daniel Wellington watch and it was funny to see a modern accessory with a hanbok. "Um— uh, you look great," You managed to speak, finally.
His smile remained the same but the the look in his eyes was about to say a lot to you.
"I don't know if you noticed me but that time you were dancing on the table with those crazy earning," He rolled his eyes whilst smiling. "I saw you." You turned your line of sight away since the vase near the hallway suddenly got really interesting.
"I—i could see another side of you and hell my feelings just grew, I knew it was wrong to like someone my best friend might possibly be liking. Jaemin," He added seeing the puzzled look on your face. But then, he shook his head saying that it was just a stupid assumption.
"Yes, I liked you way before, which is amazing because I usually got over my old crushes in about a month or so, you lasted a lot more." His feet moved in sync with yours as you two gracefully danced, you noticed so girls eyeing you with envy written all over their faces.
"What is even there to like in me, there are a lot of beautiful girls out there who are dying to get you to look at them."
"Well Y/N," the music changed to a much slower one, a sentimental ballad, it was a typical partner dance music. He shrugged making you aware that of the obvious fact that it was a couple song. And exactly at that moment, you wanted to escape rather than fall down after having Jisung so close to you. It was already hard to take in the fact that your costume was matching his.
"May I?" You nodded.
His left hand made its way to support the small of your back while his other hand held your left hand a little high, his closed the space between you two making his face come awfully close. You could just see how flawless his skin was.
"...You serious? Beauty doesn't matter, although you are very pretty. I just, you know, like you. I don't exactly know the perfect reason but as time went by, I just got more dragged into you. And knowing you was a whole lot better.
"I like how you always put everyone before you, I like how you like seeing other happy, you always try to make others smile. And you understand what it means to really care. You care about not just about your close friends but of everyone, why would you even volunteer to work at the school infirmary, that's like the most dreaded punishment.
"Moreover, you notice everything, the smallest of details, I bet you already noticed my earrings and contacts," He pointed at his ears and eyes with his left hand. You couldn't hold in your smile, you secretly prayed that the dim light in the room lasted as you were so sure you were shape-shifting into a cherry red tomato.
"So, um, will you go be my queen?" His body gained confidence after a nanosecond. You damned cheesecake.
"Cheeseball, can't you see, I am already a queen!" You were quite surprised your voice didn't break.
"Okay, then cut off the queen, will you be mine?" Avoiding the question you got closer to him and rested your head on his shoulder, still swaying your body to the music, Jisung took a moment to process everything. "Hey, don't leave me hanging like that!"
